RITA Togakushi was the community center that was almost ready to be demolished due to its age, but it was reborn as a "place for people to gather".
By eliminating decorations as much as possible and bringing out the beauty of the original wooden architecture, they have created a minimalist space where you can face your loved ones, the nature of Togakushi, and yourself by valuing the atmosphere and the space between rooms. The guest rooms overlook the approach to the town and the majestic mountains.
In a public hall where the community once gathered, "awai" offers a dining experience that is gentle on the body, beautiful to the eye, and appeals to all five senses.
The design evokes the beauty of the original wooden architecture, and the addition of scrolling animation creates a RITA-like atmosphere.
